Todd grew up in Tryon, North Carolina and that is where he became a Christian as a teenager. After high school he entered Liberty University where he graduated from in 1984. While at Liberty, he met a very special lady named Sheila, who he married in 1985! Stan has lived in Brevard most of his life. He trusted Christ as Savior at the age of 10. Stan went to work at DuPont immediately after graduating from Brevard High School in 1970. Several years ago he recommitted his life to the Lord and since that time God has used him in ways he never thought possible. He held several positions in management at DuPont which God used to prepare him for what he is doing today. In 2001 Stan volunteered for an early retirement to begin work at Brevard Community. He has been married to his wife Deborah for 35 years and they have two sons, Brent and Kyle, and two granddaughters, Marley Ruth and Farrah Blake. Alan is a native of Brevard. He accepted Jesus Christ as Savior at the age of 32. Alan’s first hands-on experience in missions came in 1989 when he was called to his first mission trip to India. After participating with other mission teams to India and Russia, he realized he was not just called to a mission trip but to missions. Sensing clear leadership of the Holy Spirit, Alan took early retirement from his job of 23 years in May of 2000. He joined the Ministry Team of Brevard Community in August of 2001 as Missions Pastor. Alan provides opportunities in missions and evangelism everywhere, from the neighborhood to the remotest parts of the world. Alan is married to Desiree and have two children Scott and Valerie. Scott Limerick has been a part of Brevard Community from the church's beginning and has been leading worship since November, 1999.  He has a strong love for all styles of music and that coupled with his heart for God serves us well as our Worship Pastor.  He leads all of the teams that help contribute creative elements to our worships – including music, drama, art and dance.  Scott is also a big sports fan and serves as our Sports Director at Brevard Community Church.  He is married to Kim and they have two children, a son named Jordan, who serves as one of the drummers in the Praise Band, and a daughter named Carmen! Brent became the Student and Children's Pastor at Brevard Community Church in November of 2000. Brent was born here in Brevard and graduated from Brevard High School in 1995. In May of 2000, he graduated from Columbia International University in Columbia, SC with a major in Bible and Youth Ministry. Amber was born and raised in the Piedmont of NC, in the small town of Denver.   In May 2001, she graduated from Gardner-Webb University, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Religious Studies. In March of 2002, Amber married Elliot Aiken and they are the proud parents of Wesley and Sawyer.  Here at BCC Amber was first introduced to small groups and quickly began to see the significant role small groups played in her life.  In 2005, Amber began working at BCC, and currently serves as the Small Group Coordinator.
